Palpitation Productions was set up by Oliver in 2008 to create cutting-edge and provocative films for an international audience. Prior to starting the company, Oliver worked for Working Title, Swipe Films and Firecracker Films, before joining Cape Cod Films in L.A. to assist the director while filming American Primitive. He has been making films since he attended an NYFA Film Program in Universal Studios aged sixteen, and has worked in a variety of roles including a film journalist, festival organiser, Bollywood producer and club DJ. He graduated with a First in English Literature from Cambridge University, and continually strives to find the diverse, unusual, and original within his work, dedicated to creating eye-catching movies to stimulate the mind.
